Ok I picked up on a couple of things in the reviews and I wanted to give my view on them as a current H&B employee.

Training: We're given strict training through our entire career, we're trained hugely in supplements and SOME food stuff. ATP say the staff know "nothing" should be rediculous as the training is fantastic. Should you encounter such disappointing service in our stores, customer services should be told so we can correct the problem, not just get slated online and told we've lost a customer. Customer service is what our company is based around, it's why we excel above any other supplement retailor.

Pay: I noticed someone posting regarding running a "very busy" store and taking home £1055. This is incorrect, your store is a low taking store, you're not achieving target either from the sounds of it.

Also the pay in general; we can't argue it's lower than most high st chains, but H&B offer the best progression and development I've ever seen. And with it the money does go up, even the CEO was an area manager once. This isn't a company, it's more like an extended family. Yes they would sack you in a shot if you go against our brand's values, but equally if you uphold them you are handsomely rewarded.

So my message here is if you would like a career in retail, H&B are one of the best providing you work hard and stand by values; understand that being retail there will inevitably be some 'good will' hours, it's retail, it's always relied on this. But your reward ling-term is more than worth it.

If you're a customer, please understand we do all we can to maintain incredible customer service throughout our estate. Staff are trained heavily and qualified, please understand from time to time you may come access a less experienced advisor in training, please handle with care, the job isn't easy, it takes time to learn.

If you receive a poor customer experience then please let customer services know and your complaint WILL be dealt with accordingly.
