A review of Pizza Hut by Jane Watts written on Sunday 1st of March 2009
Pizza Hut Harlow.
I was greeted with my daughter by a young man, not 'Good morning madam' but 'Hiya mates!' Well really!!!!
Then we ordered.
My drink of blackcurrant and apple had barely seen either fruit.
My lunch arrived; a small lunchtime pasta and chicken, cool on the plate and chicken like dried leather. We waited, we waited, eventually my daughter asked the 'lazing' waiter if she was ever going to get her lunch, to which he replied, 'Oh I thought you had been served'. Her lunch arrived, quite large we thought as we'd ordered a small lunchtime pasta. It wasn't too bad, although the garlic bread was cold and soggy by now.
Then the bill. Yes, you guessed it, it was wrong, charging us for an ordinary pasta. Admittedly when I complained we did not have to pay for the larger portion. I wouln't have minded so much if the place had been crowded, but there were two girls and a family of four, other than us. The waitresses were all gathered inside the door by the kitchen, chatting away of course.
Well we won't be returning to that place again. Such is life!.
