"Best Bargains for University Booklists."

A review of Galloway & Porter by Bernie McGee written on Thursday 28th of August 2003

An amazing shop with helpful staff. The warehouse book sales are just fantastic. I would recommend any student to try Galloway and Porter before buying elsewhere, their prices on academic books are unbeatable.

Many University booklists consist of recent out of print or non stock items, Galloway and Porter tend to have many of the titles on the lists in stock, I recently bought an out of print book for £65 secondhand off the net only to find further copies at Galloway and Porters warehouse sale for £1.

A core text book on a recent history course was £24.95 in paperback on special order, G & P had a stack at £2.95 in hardback. The warehouse sales are a must for any teacher who wants up to date national curriculum texts and a fraction of the retail price. The service is second to none..
