"Fair Play at Midsummer"

A review of Midsummer House by Sarah Staggs written on Monday 17th of November 2003

I ate at Midsummer with my husband not long ago and the service charge was not put on the bill. I was told it was left to our disgression which I thought was fantastic. I ate at Chillis a week before even after a lunch for two they had automaticlly added 12.5% and left the bill open for me to add on more. I was appauled. Had I not looked twice at the bill I would have missed the add-on. .
