"Customer Service (or lack of)"

We had a problem with the keys on our Escort and needed to get new master keys to get around the immobiliser. I rang EMG parts and services to find out if they could help, yes they could for 50 quid. My wife then went to get the keys.

"You'll have to program them" said the EMG man.

"How do I do that?"

"Check the manual"

"Oh thanks"

So after work and 30 minutes of finding our manual it took 30 seconds to program all 3 keys. Surely EMG could have spent a few seconds showing my wife how to do this? Rang them to have a word, said the manager would ring back....didn't.

Hmm, now if this is indicative of their customer service for an easy problem.....

I'm planning to buy a Focus Estate or Mondeo this year.....but not from EMG..
